Wordpress is fantastic, i looked into so many different platforms for my site and decided to go with Wordpress. Not only is it dead easy for me to post blogs but I love how the pages work. Being a graphic designer I found it difficult to find a platform that would handle creating automated image galleries easily. I needed a platform that would allow me to easily constantly update my portfolio when ever I have new work to add. Wordpress has so many plugins that make it so easy to do this.

I wouldn't say I'm a code expert by any means but even I managed to create a custom theme really easily so my website isn't just a blog for me its somewhere to show off my portfolio. I use wordpress as a complete content managment system, its so good!

I have to admit it, Wordpress does have some pretty cool features, but in the end, it's just not enough. In my battle of Typepad versus Wordpress Typepad definitely wins.

Why?

1. I need to be able to customize my templates.
2. I need to be able to display commercial content
3. I need to find the answers I really need in the support/help section.
